The Group's entire corporate structure was recently overhauled and streamlined as part of a major project carried out by Ernst and Young.

The aim of the revamp was to ensure that SBIG "kept abreast with new human resources management developments that comply with international norms and standards, and to be able to compete efficiently in a growing, and increasingly competitive, environment."

The result is a totally revamped corporate structure ensuring robust, efficient administration and decision-making processes.

SBIG's Shareholders and Board of Directors approve the Group's business strategy and corporate budget, as well as reviewing the Annual Financial Results.

The Board serves as the policy-setting body and provider of continuity, recognising the interests of employees, customers, suppliers, governments and the public, as well as operating as a vehicle to increase the effectiveness of SBIG's executive management team.

The Chairman of the Board leads the Board, and is responsible for running the Board smoothly, effectively, and for maintaining corporate integrity.

Mr. Khaled Shaheen is Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Mrs. Manal Shaheen and Mr. Akram Shaheen are Directors.

The Board of Directors includes the Shareholders as well as a distinguished, globally recognised, and highly talented Advisory Board.
