Science and culture, the spreading of knowledge, have long been passions of SBIG Chairman and CEO Mr. Khaled Shaheen.

Which is why the Shaheen Group Foundation for Science and Culture has been established, to further knowledge and understanding.

The Foundation's aim is to "sponsor and encourage students" by offering them opportunities to study and specialise in all areas of knowledge, and so help them to fulfil their potential and to achieve academic excellence through their university or college careers.

The Foundation works, and contributes, at all levels to encourage the field of research and development.

A prime goal of the Foundation is to help develop a new generation of highly qualified and skilled academics and specialists within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the fields of Social, Applied and Technological Sciences.

To help do this, the Foundation acknowledges and awards those who excel and distinguish themselves in a range of scientific fields.

It also sponsors and supports scientific foundations, with either full or part financing, covering varied fields of interest, including scientific research studies.
