Even in the most demanding and hostile of environments SBIG Logistics & Technical Service Inc., (SBIG LTS) is building a name for itself as a world-class life support and logistics company.
The skills and dedication of SBIG LTS can be seen wherever there is pressure and urgency to build infrastructures, and maintain them, whatever challenges arise.
In Iraq and in Jordan SBIG LTS has proved its abilities as an innovator and as a team player.
At various locations in Iraq and across the region, including police training facilities at Al Kut, Al Hillah and Camp Blickenstaff, SBIG LTS is providing complete base support services, including operations and maintenance of all infrastructure, including water, power and waste management systems.
In just 15 days SBIG LTS was able to complete its mobilisation at the Iraqi Army facility at Al Kasik, which involved complete base support services for a camp population of 6,000, a project requiring skilled operational experience, procurement expertise, and proven supply chain/logistics management.
SBIG's performance at Al Kasik was praised as "outstanding" with a recent site evaluation rated as "Excellent" overall. The Department of Army praised our efforts saying: "SBIG's rapport with the base leaders is better than with any other vendor. They are enthusiastically cooperative team players."
SBIG LTS also provided the full range of life support services, including design build services, for the Regional Police Academy located at the Al Asad Air Base, between February and September 2005.
In support of the Coalition Provisional Authority and the Public Security Directorate of Jordan, SBIG provides logistics services and other life support to the Iraqi Police Training Programme, which is expected to train 32,000 Iraqi police over the next several years.
Under a contract with the Jordanian Armed Forces, SBIG completed the design and construction of new camp facilities for training the Iraqi army, which included site development and design and construction of training facilities for up to 1,000 trainees, all completed in 40 days.
And in just three months SBIG was able to supply, build and commission three complete FM radio stations through its International Engineering Services affiliate in Iraq, for the Coalition Provisional Authority.
SBIG LTS is now growing, opening new offices in Dubai, Qatar and Libya.
