The Shaheen Millennium Tower, to be located on the 6th circle in Amman, Jordan, is a distinctive, stand-out office tower, with car parking at basement levels.

Designed from the outset as a model of efficiency and low energy consumption, the building will "harvest" the energy of the sun to generate cooling.

The Tower will have 35 floors above ground offering a total office area of around 80,000square metres, and five floors of underground parking that will provide enough space for 1,000 vehicles.

Sitting within a rich landscaped area, and benefiting from the very latest security systems, the Tower will have cutting edge building automation systems.

The Tower features the latest information technology and communication systems, designed so that it can be updated as newer technologies are developed and introduced.

The soaring 35 floor Shaheen Millennium Tower brings together the very latest in cutting-edge high-rise office design with a commitment to sustainable, environmentally aware construction and office living.

The Tower, to be located in the 6th Circle in Amman, Jordan, has been designed right from the start by Foster and Partners to use as little energy as efficiently as possible, drawing on the power of the Sun to generate cooling within the structure. This environmentally sound use of solar energy is just part of the ethos of the Tower, featuring earth-friendly, green and energy efficient elements throughout so as to maximise the use of fresh air and daylight.

Each of the 35 floors will have one, two, four, or six offices, a design specifically aimed at ensuring that tenants have all the flexibility they need to tailor their working environment to perfectly meet their requirements.

Shared areas like the elevator lobbies and the main corridors will be the responsibility of SBIG, and the Group will also provide the infrastructure for the office areas including Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical panel boards, IT and network cabling, and fibre optics.

The Tower's innovative Building Management System (BMS), which controls the (HVAC) systems, the elevators, and all water pumps, is also designed so that it can be readily updated with future building management technologies.

Security cameras will be placed at all entrances and exits, as well as at the parking garages and other locations, and all linked to a central Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) control room. The Concept and Schematic architectural design was undertaken by Foster and Partners and the Engineering Design Services were completed by Buro Happold.

We are also considering doing the same tower in Cairo, Egypt and Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE. It will be an icon figure that would be recognized.
